Her inspirational story is told in her first book, Deep Waters: Trusting God When Your Feet Can’t Touch Bottom where she offers hope along with practical application towards becoming “happy even after.”

She is an author, life coach, and motivational speaker with a talent for adapting her messages to a wide range of audiences and age groups. A native New Yorker and first generation American, this Spelman alumna is passionate about living out her “why” and coaching others to do the same.
